Let's Explore Our Aluminum Survey Vessel
Designed specifically to support the development of port facilities, this ship possesses the capability to perform hydrographic surveys both within and beyond the port area.
Propeller Shafts
- The vessel is equipped with two propeller shafts and matching Fixed Pitch Propellers (FPP) for propulsion.
- The vessel features a propulsion control system that enables centralized monitoring and control from both the Bridge and the Engine Room. This system allows for efficient management of the propulsion plant.
- Provision is made to operate and manually engage the engines with gearboxes. Additionally, the propulsion plant can be controlled locally from the Engine Room, providing redundancy and flexibility in operation.
Multipurpose
Primary Purpose: Conducting hydrographic surveys within and outside the port area to support the development of port facilities. Performing pre, interim, and post-dredge surveys of the dredging area within the channel.
- Carrying out piloting duties.
- Conducting search and rescue operations.
- Assisting with conservancy and other related services.
- Undertaking any other port duties as required from time to time.
The design of the our vessel prioritizes minimizing underwater noise to support acoustic-sensitive instruments and tasks, while also enhancing livability.
Advanced Equipment
A new hydrographic survey vessel is capable of conducting channel surveys during both day and night. The vessel is equipped with multibeam and single-beam echo sounders, as well as data acquisition and processing software, positioning equipment, and a sound velocity profiler (SVP). It will be outfitted with a set of side-loading equipment, including an articulated A-frame at the stern and a deck crane capable of reaching the entire stern deck, as well as a hydrographic winch, among others. These equipment will facilitate channel survey operations and support related handling and loading tasks.
Materials: Marine grade aluminium 5083 H 111 /H 112, grade to be mentioned
Propulsion System
- The vessel is equipped with two marine diesel engines of adequate power to achieve the maximum continuous ship’s trial speed of 15 knots and a service speed of 12 knots.
- Each engine is connected to a reverse reduction gearbox, ensuring efficient power transmission to the propulsion system.
- The propulsion control system allows for centralized monitoring and control from both the Bridge and the Main Control Room (MCR). Additionally, a Local Control and Monitoring Panel is available in the engine room for convenient local operation and monitoring.
- The vessel is fitted with two lines of stern gear, each consisting of a propeller shaft, stern tube, and propeller. This configuration ensures reliable and efficient propulsion performance.
About Our Shipbuilding Capabilities
Fit-out dock
Equipped with three fit-out docks, namely, a pair of 75-meter fit-out docks on the ship lift platform and a 165-meter fit-out dock on the western side. The docks have an average water depth of -7 meters and can accommodate vessels of tens of thousands of tons
Facility facilities
A 1100-ton vertical ship lift platform (75 m x 14 m x 7.3 m can swiftly lift vessels from underwater and facilitate their quick launching. This platform effectively reduces the time required for docking operations, enabling expedited lifting and launching processes.
Construction equipment
The factory is equipped with a total of 556 sets of major equipment, including plate processing, machining equipment, lifting equipment, testing equipment, welding equipment, painting equipment, ventilation equipment, and more.
